If the geometries contained in the index file are document geometries, the Documents Search Options have to be set correctly in the Spatial Location File Creation dialog prior to creating the SLF.

In order to add valid geometries in the SLF, the file names contained in the index file must exist in the “searched directory”, which is the directory specified in the Search in field. Optionally, default file extensions can be specified in the dialog in case the file names in the index file do not include file extensions.
